Webinar Content: The Community Infrastructure Levy is intended to replace the use of planning obligations for most infrastructures and this will have an important impact on the planning process. This live online webinar will look at the final orders and review how new infrastructure can be procured, and the residual role of planning agreements. It will also look at other emerging strategies for procuring infrastructure, including business rates supplement and Tax Increment Financing.
Presenter: Ms Sandra Banks is a solicitor and a member of the Royal Town Planning Institute. She started her career in local government but then spent twenty years with Denton Wilde Sapte’s planning and public law team. During this time she acted for both local authorities and the private sector on all types of development, specialising in major developments and transport projects. She now has her own practice and helps other firms with projects in specialist areas. She has extensive experience of regeneration having acted extensively for English Partnerships (as it then was) in developing the Milton Keynes tariff and for other clients in the Thames Gateway Development Area and the West Northamptonshire Development Corporation.
