Presenter: Miss Fiona Gregory has been a Non Executive Director with British Friendly Society Ltd for eight years, having previously been their legal advisor for over 10 years. She is currently Chairman. In addition to her other Board duties and following a strategic review of the Society in response to the Higgs report, she introduced best practice principles and prepared all the draft paperwork for Board Members in respect of job descriptions, performance reviews, including assessment definitions and competencies criteria, a Skills Audit Questionnaire, a Recruitment Policy, Induction Procedures, a training programme and draft Job Descriptions for Senior Executive Staff.
