I am writing to let you know that your 2010 C&I subscription is now due for payment.
The cost of individual membership is £45 + VAT and we now have two rates for corporate membership - £275+ VAT for legal departments up to 20 lawyers and £300 + VAT for departments of 20+ lawyers. Corporate membership is beneficial for larger legal departments (over 6 in-house lawyers, trainees, legal executives, barristers etc) and you can have an unlimited number of members registered as part of your corporate membership.
The main advantage of renewing your subscription is the huge discount on C&I training courses. Subscribed members pay around £92 per course less than non members and we offer a wide selection of courses, all of which offer great value for money in today's economic climate. As well as discounted training, members also receive other benefits which include access to free information tools provided by Lexwiser, Martindale Hubbell Connected and Linex Legal plus you can obtain a free Butterworths Law Directory. In 2009 we produced advice on The New Code of Conduct which was prepared by Tony Guise, a specialist lawyer who deals with solicitor disciplinary issues and this advice was only available to subscribed members. We also offer our subscribed members the chance to purchase certain ICSA books at greatly reduced prices.
To renew your membership, you need to send a cheque, quoting your membership number on the reverse (please send an email to info@cigroup.org.uk should you need to find out your membership number) to Julie Slater, C&I Group Services Ltd, Woodbank House, 80 Churchgate, Stockport SK1 1YJ. Alternatively, we now accept payment over the telephone by credit card (not AMEX or Diners) and please call 0161 480 2918 should you wish to use this facility.
